Introduction

On Oct-13-2024, police stopped two people driving a stolen vehicle. Inside the car, officers discovered a bunch of concerning items — including cash, weighing scales, a loaded handgun, and notably a canvas bag labeled “Definitely not a bag full of drugs.”

The driver was identified as Reginald Lamont Reynolds, 35, and the passenger as Mia Rochelle Baggenstos, 37. Both were arrested at the scene; Reynolds faced multiple charges including unlawful possession and delivery of methamphetamine, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and possession of a stolen vehicle. Baggenstos was booked on the same charges, though prosecutors later chose not to pursue charges against her.
